Juan Leal
I grew up in the Wheaton\Warrenville area. Growing up, I had the opportunity to visit Mexico numerous times for our annual visit in December. I have been fortunate to see many small towns and big cities in Mexico and have seen all aspects of life. Spanish is my first language, I learned English in elementary school. I am a 2002 graduate of Wheaton Warrenville South. In 2007 I finished my B.A. in History from Northern Illinois University. In 2011, I obtained my teaching certificate and my B.A. in Spanish language and literature. During the summer of 2008, I visited Spain by means of a study abroad program. This is my sixth year teaching. I started teaching Spanish at Addison Trail. While at AT, I coached badminton. Here at East, I teach Spanish for Spanish speakers 1 and 2 and Spanish 2. I am also involved in our boys and and girls soccer programs. I am the head freshman coach and the head Varsity coach. Go Wolves!
